About Us

Fiddling Cat was started in April of 2020. I am Tammy Jackson, owner and found of the company. I began Fiddling Cat with the intention of selling cat-themed products to my fellow cat lovers. I have always loved cats, and I am thrilled when I find clothing or jewelry or other items that have cats on them. I bet there are lots of you out there who feel the same way.

When I was seven and eight years old, my parents rented a farm in Illinois, and there were 25 cats living there. There were lots of barns and corn fields and a big old St. Bernard dog named Saint. Saint let all the cats come sleep on top of him in a barn at night. I wish I had a photo of that sight.

When I was about ten years old, we visited my paternal grandparents’ farm in North Dakota, and I was allowed to adopt a kitten that I selected from a litter in my Grandfather’s barn. She was named Pooh, and I loved her with all my heart. Since then, there have been lots and lots of beloved kitties who have come and gone in my life. Right now I have two black male rescue cats named Buzby and Bandit. My two daughters also love cats. Hope currently has Raspberry and Savannah has Astro and Luna. Ah! My grandkitties!

I currently live near Roanoke, Virginia in the Blue Ridge mountains. I am a small one-woman business, but I’m hoping to grow as time goes on.
